PayPal Connector Setup ​

To integrate PayPal as a payment connector in Polaris, you will need the following credentials and configuration steps:

Required Credentials ​

To establish a connection between Polaris and PayPal, the following credentials are required:

  1. Account ID: The ID associated with your PayPal merchant account.
  2. Client ID: The PayPal client ID, used for API authentication.
  3. Client Secret: The secret key paired with your client ID for securely authenticating API requests.

Make sure to obtain these credentials from your PayPal developer dashboard before proceeding.

Important Configuration Steps ​

To complete the setup, the following configuration is required in your PayPal account:

  1. Add the Polaris Webhook URL
    • Navigate to the Webhooks section in your PayPal dashboard and add the following URL as the webhook for Polaris:
      https://services.dimoco.at/dcb-dev-stable-r/rembo/callback/paypal
    • This URL is used to receive payment status updates from PayPal.
